3rd Annual Race to Save is in the books!
What a beautiful day we had for our 3rd Annual Race to Save Student Activities 5K/10K Fun Run & Walk! Thank you to everyone who came out to run, walk, or simply enjoy the sunshine at a fun-filled community event that helped raise funds for our district co- and extra-curricular programs. Special thanks go out to the numerous volunteers who helped with the logistics of the day . . . we couldn't do it without you! Thanks for donating your time to make our event so successful!
Down to business . . . please click on the links below for results of the 5K and 10K races. We'll post results of the kids races very soon. We hope you all had a good time and hope you will join us again next year!

THANK YOU!!!
Many thanks to all the groups who came out in support of our Carnival of Thanks! With your help, we were able to raise well over $3000 to put towards next year's co/extra-curricular programs! And congratulations to Julie Ballard on winning the Chili Cook-Off! The competition was tough, but hers was deemed the best!
Spreading the Wealth!
Well, we certainly wish there was more wealth to spread, but we forge ahead and do what we can to keep our vital student programs alive . . . with the profits NHBA has raised from our 1st Race to Save Student Activities, and in keeping with our mission to include ALL New Haven students in our goals, we are donating to all seven elementary schools and Cabello's Student Support Center. Presentations have already been made at assemblies at some of the elementary sites. Through your continued generous support in our fundraising activities and donations, we hope to sustain (and even increase) our support to students at all grade levels in our district!
2nd Annual Race to Save Student Activities
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our 2nd Annual Race this past weekend! We doubled our participation rate from last year! What a great show of support from our community and a testament to how vital these programs are to our district.
The increase, though fabulous and very welcome, did prove a little challenging on the day of. We appreciate everyone's understanding and acceptance of the fact that we are still growing and learning as we grow. Here are your awaited race/walk results:

Save Co-Curricular Programs
Donations to save co-curricular programs will always be welcome! If you're so inclined, please feel free to donate any amount at any time! Donations are fully tax deductible. As NHBA is part of the New Haven Schools Foundation (and we therefore have the benefit of their non-profit status) donations can be made at their website – http://nhsfoundation.com/. We know many residents (without children) of Union City and South Hayward care about New Haven schools. Many voted yes on Measure B. We would also greatly appreciate support of these folks to keep co-curricular programs operating. We know that you realize that good schools keep property values high. Please donate as generously as is possible. Thank you to all!
